National MX Series Amateur Racing Unadilla
Staff, J Anderson
Heather Byrd and Angela Adkins continued their unstoppable destiny with greatness as they won the Women's Class races over the weekend at Unadilla MX. The races were part of the Can-Am Northeastern National Presented by Renegade.
For Byrd, it's a date with perfection as the Union City, Tenn. rider earned her sixth consecutive victory in Pro-Am Women. Michelle Natalie was second, finishing in the runner-up slot for the sixth straight time. Adrienne Copper netted her fifth consecutive third-place finish.
Adkins, from Charles City, Va., won her fourth race this season, and hasn't missed the podium in 2008. Nashville singing sensation Krista Marie finished second, recording her best finish this season. Kayle Dyer was third.
