It is almost hard to believe that we are at a point in time where 4-strokes have virtually taken over the sport of motocross and made 2-stroke motorcycles not only second choice but almost obsolete. 20 years ago the 4-stroke bikes were Dual Sport or trail bike. Today there are the premium racing bike for all ages and skills.
The White Brothers World 4-Stroke MX Championships is a great warm-up for the Pro riders who are gearing up for the outdoor nationals. That means an incredible list of riders on the gate and more than enough reason to draw the spectators as well.
Not only is there good reason for spectators to come out to Glen Helen for the White Brothers World 4-Stroke Championships, there is good reason to race as well. There is $7,000 up for grabs this year for the Open Pro class, as well as $2,000 for taking in the Richardson’s RV 250f Class Pro Purse.
In addition, associate sponsors BBR and ITP each have an event with some hefty purses available for participants. BBR had put up $5,000 for the 150R class and ITP had $1500 up for grabs for the Quad 4-stroke Pro. The is Over $15,000 in Purse money!!!
The event is two days April 21-22, 2007. Saturday is the Amateur warm-up day with all classes racing, plus the Richardson’s 250F Pro race. Sunday is the premier day, all amateur classes are racing plus the BBR 150R, ITP 4-Stroke Pro and the main race of the weekend the White Brother Open Pro. Practice starts at 7:30am each day with racing at 9:30am.
